Blueprint Gaming has strengthened its presence in South Africa with a new partnership with Supergroup brands Betway and Jackpotcity.

The agreement gives a new swathe of customers access to a comprehensive selection of the studio’s established, high-performing titles.

Sam Haggblom, director of business development at Blueprint Gaming, said: “South Africa continues to be an important market for Blueprint as we look to build meaningful, long-term partnerships across the region.”

“Working with key Supergroup brands such as Betway and Jackpotcity gives us a formidable platform to showcase the depth and diversity of our portfolio,” Haggblom said.

Under the partnership, Blueprint’s industry-renowned Megaways and Cash Strike titles will be available, alongside its growing collection of IP-led releases, including ted and the hit recent release, Game of Thrones.

Other high-profile games will follow as the rollout progresses.

Market strategy

The deal marks an important step in Blueprint’s long-term South Africa strategy, building on its earlier market entry.

South Africa remains one of the continent’s most established gaming markets, supported by a robust regulatory environment, a strong betting heritage, and continued growth in digital engagement.

With online casino offering significant long-term potential, the market gives leading content providers more opportunities to establish and deepen their presence.

The partnership with Supergroup, a regional leader in betting and gaming, gives Blueprint an important platform to scale further in South Africa.

“From our established titles to our expanding range of branded content, we are confident our games will resonate with new players and look forward to building on this partnership as we continue to grow our presence in South Africa,” Haggblom said.

Blueprint Gaming is a UK-based game studio and part of Germany’s Merkur Group.

Founded in 2009, the company has produced a portfolio of more than 1,000 titles, spanning proprietary IPs such as Fishin’ Frenzy and King Kong Cash alongside licensed properties including The Goonies, ted and Game of Thrones.

The studio is licensed to develop and supply online games across a range of regulated markets, and holds certification for play in South Africa.

The Blueprint Gaming South Africa rollout is expected to widen as further titles are added.
