Health Canada recalls Valco Baby Trend Duo Double Stroller over safety hazards
The recall involves 314 units sold in Canada, which do not meet federal carriage and stroller regulations.
Health Canada has ordered a recall of the Valco Baby Trend Duo Double Stroller over entrapment, tip-over and injury hazards.
The consumer product recall was posted on the agency's website on Thursday, Oct. 1.
"The strollers may tip over while in use, posing fall and injury hazard to children," warns the recall notice.

"The leg opening in front of the seat can allow a child's torso to fit through, posing a serious risk of injury due to entrapment."
Health Canada adds certain areas around the seat may expose children to additional "shearing or pinching hazards."
The recalled strollers, distributed by Junior Brand Corp., fail to meet Canadian regulations for carriages and strollers, the notice said.
"Immediately stop using the recalled product and contact Junior Brand Corp. for additional information on how to eliminate the hazards," read the notice.
The federal agency said 314 units of the made-in-China products were sold in Canada between August 2024 and December 2025.
The stroller comes in four colours: night, charcoal, cappuccino and cloud.
The model number is N0048, the batch number is 1018234-CAN and the barcode is 9 315517 100480.
As of Sept. 25, the company had not received any reports of incidents or injuries in Canada, Health Canada said.
Consumers can email Junior Brands Corp. at [email protected] or visit the company website for more information.
The federal agency encourages Canadians to report any health or safety incidents by filling out the consumer product incident report form.
