The Saskatchewan Indian Gaming Authority has chosen Bede Gaming to supply the technology for its new online gaming platform, BetSIGA. The operator plans to launch the platform in spring 2027, building on its existing iGaming business in the province. SIGA selected Bede following a competitive procurement process. The new BetSIGA platform will replace the PlayNow site that SIGA has operated since November 2022 as the only legally recognized online gaming platform in Saskatchewan.

SIGA President and CEO Zane Hansen said the project is a key part of the operator's long-term digital strategy. "This will be our own platform, built with a partner that shares our commitment to safe, responsible and engaging play, and it will continue to share success with revenue distributed to support First Nation communities and Saskatchewan," Hansen said. The two companies will collaborate to design, build and launch the platform, which will be available via a responsive website and dedicated mobile apps for iOS and Android. SIGA will migrate its current players to the new BetSIGA site, which will be customized for its provincial player base. According to an announcement, the platform will use Bede's open and modular technology, which is designed to be adaptable. It will support data, loyalty and personalization features intended to link online play with SIGA's other gaming operations. The operator stated that safe and trusted play is a central focus, with the platform incorporating identity verification, geolocation, anti-money laundering measures and responsible gaming controls.

"This partnership extends far beyond technology implementation. It represents a significant opportunity to combine trusted technology, deep sector expertise and true operational collaboration," said Colin Cole-Johnson, Chief Executive Officer at Bede Gaming. Cole-Johnson added that SIGA has a clear vision for gaming in the province. "SIGA has a clear and ambitious vision for the future of gaming in Saskatchewan, and we are proud to support the team in building a connected digital ecosystem that will deliver exceptional player experiences and sustainable long-term value."
