Air India launches 'Great Escape Sale' for North American travellers
The limited-time promotion offers one-way fares starting at C$449 from Canada for travel to destinations across Asia and the Gulf.
Air India has launched a sale offering discounted fares for travellers in Canada and the United States to destinations across Asia and the Gulf.
The "Great Escape Sale" runs until Oct. 3, 2026, for travel until March 31, 2027, subject to blackout dates and seat availability.
"From a quick getaway to the Gulf and holidays across South Asia to exploring Southeast Asia or discovering the Far East, travellers can make the most of attractive fares to experience more of Air India's international network," the airline said.

One-way fares start at C$449 from Canada and US$350 from the U.S., while return fares start at C$899 and US$650 respectively.
The sale covers flights operated by Air India and Air India Express, and both one-way and return bookings are eligible.
The fares are described as all-inclusive, but the airline said inventory is limited and subject to availability at the time of booking.
The sale is available on Air India's website, mobile app and contact centre, and through authorised travel agents.
Logged-in members who book directly on the website or app can receive up to 50 per cent off the applicable convenience fee, where one is charged.
The travel window includes the festive season and year-end, when many non-resident Indians in Canada travel to India.
Air India has also expanded its Canada service, including three weekly nonstop flights between Toronto and Mumbai starting Oct. 25.
The upgraded Boeing 777-300ER operating the route will feature eight private First Class suites, 40 fully flat Business Class seats, 280 Economy seats and onboard Wi-Fi.
The airline said the sale gives travellers across North America an opportunity to connect to destinations with convenient schedules and short layovers.
Bookings must be completed by 11:59 p.m. on Oct. 3, 2026.
The airline announced the sale on September 28 for travellers in the United States and Canada.
The sale covers routes beyond India as well, which makes it easier to add a stopover or a second destination.
The Air India Group, comprising Air India and its low-cost subsidiary Air India Express, currently operates more than 300 aircraft, serving 60 domestic and 51 international destinations across five continents.
The airline, which returned to Tata Sons in 2022 after seven decades of government ownership, is undergoing a five-year transformation program known as Vihaan.AI.
As part of the program, Air India has placed orders for 600 new aircraft and is progressively retrofitting its existing fleet.
Those periods usually witness growing demand, and fares tend to tighten as departure dates approach.
