EGT Digital expands African reach with new SportPesa partnership
The deal integrates EGT Digital's casino games into SportPesa's platform across Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.
NAIROBI — EGT Digital has integrated its casino games into the SportPesa platform through a new partnership aimed at expanding its presence in Africa.
The collaboration brings EGT Digital's in-house developed gaming content to SportPesa customers in Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.
"SportPesa is a highly recognised name in African gaming, with deep knowledge of its markets and customers," said Zsuzsanna Zeibig, general manager of EGT for Africa. "This makes the partnership particularly important for us as we continue to expand EGT Digital's presence across the continent."

Adam Beighton, director of commercial operations at SportPesa, said the partnership will offer customers greater choice and a richer gaming experience.
"As a business founded on digital innovation, this collaboration takes us back to our roots while helping us build for the future," Beighton said. "EGT Digital's high-quality, cutting-edge games are an excellent fit for our platform, and we look forward to working together as SportPesa continues to take Africa's gaming experience to the next level."
Zeibig added, "We are delighted to bring our gaming content to SportPesa's players and see strong potential to develop this collaboration further."
The partnership combines EGT Digital's growing casino portfolio with SportPesa's extensive experience across African markets.
SportPesa was founded in Nairobi in 2014 and has been active in African gaming for more than a decade.
It was the first digital betting company in Kenya, initially offering betting services to customers through SMS and USSD.
Today, its offering includes sports and live betting, casino content, jackpots and other digital gaming products.
The operator has built a strong connection with African sport and local communities through its long-standing support for grassroots and professional sporting initiatives.
EGT Digital said the collaboration represents another important step in its strategy to grow its footprint across regulated African markets and establish long-term relationships with leading local and regional operators.
The company said its gaming content is developed to combine engaging gameplay, distinctive mechanics and a diverse range of experiences for different player preferences.
The new collaboration further supports EGT Digital's international growth strategy, focused on expanding the reach of its in-house developed gaming portfolio through partnerships with established operators and delivering content tailored to the needs of regulated markets worldwide.
