Games Global and High Limit Studio release Fivefold the Gold slot

Games Global and its exclusive studio partner, High Limit Studio, have released a new slot game called Fivefold the Gold. The 5x3 slot is set in an enchanted Irish countryside and builds on the established Lucky Levels feature from the series. It introduces multiple Free Spins features and a Wheel Bonus, with a maximum win potential of up to 200,000x. The game is the latest instalment in High Limit Studio's The Gold franchise. Adrian Wotton, creative director at High Limit Studio, said the release allows the studio to expand on the Lucky Levels experience. "Fivefold the Gold gives us the chance to build on the Lucky Levels experience with more features and different ways to approach the Free Spins," Wotton said. "Each feature brings something different to the game, while the progression system gives players plenty to discover as they continue to spin."

The game's Lucky Levels feature gradually introduces new elements as players spin. After 10 spins, a Magic Hat can begin dropping Wilds and Coins onto the reels. After 30 spins, a Wheel Bonus Prize Multiplier is unlocked, providing a chance to increase bonus prizes in the base game. As the levels progress, four different coloured Clover symbols are introduced, each unlocking a distinct Free Spins experience.

Game features and progression

The four Free Spins modes include Upgrade Free Spins, Sticky Free Spins, Repeat Win Free Spins and Multiplier Free Spins. In Repeat Win Free Spins, the multiplier can increase up to 50x, while Multiplier Free Spins can boost the multiplier up to 10x per Collect Symbol. The game's Leprechaun mascot triggers an Express Collect feature when Coins land alongside him. Coins that land without the Leprechaun are added to a Pot, which can activate the Wheel Bonus.

The Wheel Bonus offers Mini, Maxi, Minor, Major and Mega prizes ranging from 5x to 5000x the bet. Once players reach 250 base game spins, the Free Spins round can guarantee wins between 20x and 200x. After 350 spins, the Wheel Bonus upgrades to a Super Wheel Bonus. The game also includes a Random Mega Prize, where a Mega symbol awards a 5000x prize when it lands on the fifth reel.
