LONDON — FairPlay Sports Media has appointed Hannah Buitekant as its Chief Growth Officer.

Buitekant will lead the strategic execution of the group's growth strategy for media partners and iGaming operators, the company said.

"What really drew me in is that FairPlay Sports Media has advanced technology and AI solutions that redefine how value flows between consumers, media and operators," said Hannah Buitekant, Chief Growth Officer at FairPlay Sports Media.

"These solutions aren't just transactional, they are built to keep consumers coming back, which is what drives stronger, more durable outcomes for our partners and iGaming operators."

Buitekant brings close to 20 years of experience as a founder and leader, building digital businesses, executing commercial transformation, and developing significant strategic partnerships across the media and technology sectors.

She joins FairPlay Sports Media following a successful 12 years at the multi-channel publisher dmg media, which engages one in five UK adults every day through brands including the Daily Mail, Metro, i Paper and New Scientist.

Her most recent role there was Chief Commercial Digital and Strategy Officer.

In her new role, Buitekant will build the go-to-market engine, customer success, account management and product sales capabilities to enter new markets, territories and sports verticals, while continuing to grow existing revenues through the deployment of the group's data and technology.

Stuart Simms, Group CEO at FairPlay Sports Media, added: "Hannah is a fantastic addition to our executive team at FairPlay Sports Media. Her track record speaks for itself; she has performed in evolving markets, overcoming sector challenges to deliver consistent growth with an acute eye on finding new engagement and partnership opportunities."

The appointment comes as FairPlay Sports Media continues to position its data platform and products across international markets.

The group is built on the legacy of oddschecker, founded in 1999, and operates at the intersection of sports audiences, publishers and betting operators.

Its infrastructure runs on a proprietary data platform built to process more than one billion odds on peak days and cover over 30,000 sporting events annually.

The company's brand portfolio includes oddschecker, WhoScored, SuperScommesse and Confido Network.

A Bruin Capital company headquartered in London, FairPlay Sports Media has operations across North America and Europe, supported by a workforce of more than 200 employees.
